What's in a name? Nearly eighteen years ago when I came up with the name 305 Spin, I knew that to be able to grow a business in technology and marketing in a small town in the Midwest, we would need to build an identity that could attract and work with clients anywhere. With the growth of the internet, this mantra became even more important.

Today - 3 05, 2010, it seems that things have worked out. So far this year 305 Spin has developed websites for clients in Moscow, Russia and Lacrosse, Wisconsin. We work with an amazingly talented agency in Shreveport, Louisiana and over 50 clients in Memphis. And we still work with the two hardest working record labels in the world, Alligator Records and Blind Pig Records. We recently built a website for a cool 3D avatar creator for instant messaging. This included an iPhone website and iPhone ecommerce app. And we are working on some really great projects right now that may even top  these.

Websites, online application development, hosting, iPhone applications, websites for smartphones, facebook applications, blogs. How much fun can we have these days? LOTS!

Order Online from Lenny's Sub Shops

Lenny's Sub Shops, a national food service chain, now features online ordering!  305 Spin worked with Lenny's IT to develop an online ordering system that is integrated with their custom Point Of Sale system.  Lenny's customers can now go online and order their favorite sandwiches from 150+ stores across the nation.  Ordering your favorite sub or Philly has never been more convenient!

305 Spin adds Live Chat for our current customers!

305 Spin added a Live Chat feature utilizing Smarter Track and is available to our current customers from our 305 Spin Home website. We look forward to the interactions that we have with our customers and wanted to ensure that we could provide this value added service. The chat portal hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST.

305 Spin adds new Client Admin page

What does the client admin page do for you? Our new client admin page opens up when you log into the administrative portion of your website and is a great way to keep the lines of communication open. Here is a brief description of the features you will find displayed on the front of this page and additionally located on the left menu bar:

305 Announcements: Upon opening is an informational link about the current happenings at 305 Spin.

Relevant News: News articles ranging in marketing, e-commerce, regional and international news, that we think will be of interest.

Wish List: Tell us what you want or need. Here you can let us know if you have detected an issue with your website or you can express your desire for a website enhancement or a new website creation.

Development Events: Provides timelines and roadmaps for deliverables including updates or requests for content.

Messages: Need to get us a message while in a meeting or when a phone conversation doesn’t work for you at the time. Utilize the message feature as a quick communication link that is checked daily and includes a response field for us reply to your message.

Website Admin: This link will take you to your website admin page.

Dev Server: A quick reference link to the website that we are developing for you. When the site or update has been completed; review it on the DEV Server prior to the final product going live.

Mailman Admin: This section will be addressed in a separate news item. In general, utilize the Mailman Admin link to manager your mailman account, create and send an e-mail promotional, and see how well your mailman account is reaching your intended audience.

Website Statistics: Opens you into the Smarter Stats interface. This is a very useful application that shows how people are getting to your site and how well your site is working. Once opened, a seven day overview is displayed with statistical information such as View and Visits information, bandwidth Usage, top pages (most viewed web pages within your site), how people arrived at your site and what key phrases or words they used for searching.

Webmail: Go directly to your Web Email provided that 305 Spin is your current webmail provider.
